Jim Parrack, Jill Paice, Jeremy Holm, Danny Ramirez, and Chris Ellis also star. Silo is written by Jason Williamson and produced by Samuel Goldberg and Ilan Ulmer. It doesn’t pander, it’s smart, thoughtful, and uplifting and it’s for a wide swath of the country too often neglected, as much as it’s a powerful story for us ‘coastal elites’ here in New Yawk.” So much of the film industry has left behind a major part of the country and SILO is the rare film that is targeted to an audience either overlooked or written off. SILO, a film that follows a harrowing day in an American farm town when teenage Cody becomes the victim of a grain entrapment accident, has just been released on DVD and Blu-Ray disc. The film, which came out just over two years ago, is also available over streaming for Hulu subscribers. O-Scope’s Dan Berger added, “As a company that brings a dozen films a year to audiences, it’s always exciting when a film enables us to reach completely new and different people. Silo is a 2019 American thriller drama film directed by Marshall Burnette and starring Jim Parrack, Jill Paice, Jack DiFalco, Jeremy Holm, Danny Ramirez and. With the help of Dan and his team, we’ll now be able to platform Silo and its subjects in a profoundly meaningful way.”

SILO THE FILM TV
The film was based on an original TV play by Mosman. In the 1990s, two men are trapped in a nuclear missile silo with war looming. It was shot in 1969 and was produced by Grahame Jennings and directed by John Alaimo. “Our goal has always been to use the power of storytelling to inspire empathy and unite people, especially during these divisive times in our country. The SILO team flew from New York and Los Angeles to show the film for the first time and meet audience members much like the characters in the film and the people who helped make it. Silo 15 is a 1971 Australian television movie. I look at the film as if it were an onion. I went to school with many farmers and silos were common throughout the state. Having grown up in the Midwest, I can relate to the farm life portrayed in the film. Watching the film pulled at my heartstrings. “As someone who grew up in NYC loving arthouse cinema, I have admired Oscilloscope’s rich history and incredible taste for my entire producing career,” said Silo producer Samuel Goldberg. Silo is a great example of a film that takes audiences on a rollercoaster of emotions.
